    Trumpets

    I need to replace a trumpet in my airbox. I notice that there is a brown substance around the trumpets on the inside of the air box as so:



    What is that stuff? I'd try my spoog but mine is white like the rest of you? Also, do you think that the brown substance is just rubbed around the trumpets on the insider to help them seal?

    NT, I don't know what that stuff is, but I would imagine 'sensor safe' silicon would do great to 'glue' the rubber trumpets in place.
    Have you considered Devi's Aluminium trumpets as a replacement?
