i getting happier and happier i got my bike when i did. seeing the price on that
speedtriple r is just insane. i remember an article way back when the 1050's
first came out talking about the price of triumphs and what a great value they
were. i got my 06 in 07 for $8300 and considered that as bout a good of deal out
there for a new liter sized bike, not to mention a freakin speedtriple.
but i don't feel that way anymore. the deal just doesn't seem to be their now.
maybe they are going the harley route and make the look as important as the bike.
but i still love my speedtriple. absolutely the perfect bike and exactly what i was looking for.

I picked mine up for $8,999 OTD new. I'm just going to paint my subframe and ride it faster..

Why not just keep the 1050 and add a,second motor? A v6 2100.
