I think if you get ride of the O2 sensor you might have to have Tuneboy to tune your motorcycles ECU to make yor engine run properly .
I could be wrong though,i'm just the eye candy around here and get by on my looks instead of my knowledge.
I like shiny things.

On my 07 The 02 sensor is in the header near the back end. I didn't have to do anything but take off the stock midpipe and cans and bolt on the little can. It was super simple. I ordered mine from Pure-Triumph.com and they emailed me asking a few questions to be sure they sent the correct one.
Try this maneuver: Take 50-60 paces backwards. Take several deep breaths. Sprint forward at full speed. Do a triple summersault through the air, and disappear up your own asshole.

By the look of the 2 pipes on that link, I think the headers are different lengths. Note that the 2 cans sit at different angles too.

I agree, the headers are different length and the angle on the 07 looks steeper to me. I have sent an e-mail to comp werkes, see what they say...
