    Comp Werkes

I just bought an 09/10 1050 speedy. I'm wanting to fit a comp werkes pipe. However, I have looked and there is no facility to fit the 02 sensor on the comp werkes pipe. On my bike the 02 sensor goes into rear pipe after the headers? I know people have fitted the pipe to 08/09/10 models so what do you need to do? Anyone know?

    Cheers

you in Austria or something?? if so, you're gonna want to buy the kit for the early 1050 to fit your header right.

Thanks Anti. I am in Austria. We get different headers hey? My sensor is just behind the footpeg, about an inch after the header pipe.

Thanks Brrapp, that explains it. So in Austria we get old headers/pipes? Why is that, are the ones in the US fitted with cats or something?

The cat is in the mid pipe on ours. If I were you I woulda just order a header off eBay. The old ones are longer. You might need the newer 02 sensor unless you plug it. They are different sizes from what I remember. Another issue is the rearset fitting. The rearsets that came with mine required a spacer to clear the brake lever.

Thanks mate, I was hoping there would be a plug and play application. I don't know if they'll do one though, I have sent them a message. It looks like we have an 07 exhaust with 08 footpegs. Dont know if they'll do anything that fits...

I'd drill & weld a sendor bung onto the header you have. Then you can purchase 2005 style Werkes soup can.

Or just disable O2 sensor with TuneECU altogether, then you don't have to get the welder out.

Yeah I didn't realy want to drill the header on the bike. In the link Brrapp posted they say it comes with a 02 sensor illiminator. This might be the way to go I think, if it fits. Otherwise its a rethink on which pipe to use.
