    07/08 frames

    Is there any difference in the frames on 07/08 bikes? Mine is an 08 black forks/brembos is the frame the same as the earlier model? Thanks

    basically the same Richard, but there maybe some minor differences as the plastic tank (early 07) mounts differently to the steel tank...late 07 and 08 onwards.

    Thanks Chewie, just looking at exhaust mounts Gregory. Austrians get the early model headers with the 02 sensor in the rear exhaust, Murricans get the sensor in the header from 08. So we need 05/07 slip ons for our 08/10 bikes cos the headers are different lengths.

    What Chewie said. The tank mount points are the big diff, but you may be able to purchase the brackets to make it work. Anyone ever hear of an 07- tank mounted to an '08? Prob not cause the side panels would be all messed up.

    The paint and finish is different too. '08+ get some kind of matt black glittery shit while the older ones were just semi-gloss (?) black.
