    Question Regulator/ Rectifier

Having a electrical problem, thought it was the battery, but tested it with mulit-meter and it's not charging. So after speaking to "North side Triumph" at Artarmon (JOKERS) and was quoted $700 just for the part!! i'm in search of a rectifier on line, and have come across a product called "Ricks Rectifier" for $150. (postage of $16.)

Has/ is anyone using this in a Speed Triple 2006?

    cheers

Normally it's the stator that goes fubar. Make sure you diagnosed correctly.
There are a few writeups about this on this forum....do a search.

What part is that? Even the official Triumph MOSFET upgrade kit (reg+leads+2011 bracket) should be around ~$200. Or you can purchase only Triumph leads for $10 and get the reg from somewhere else for well under $100.

Are they saying they will charge $500 of labour or did you miss some part of their part list?

If it is your R/R try one of these.

Have a look in the troubleshooting forum for lots and lots and lots of info about stators.
