Yeah, welcome already. You'll be shocked at how much easier the Speed Triple is to ride than the V-rod. Whoever told you that bullshit should be kicked in the nutz.
I will never forget you, although I try very much to do so on a daily basis.

I had a night rod special before the speedy. I loved that bike. Put down 127 whp. Not too shabby for what it was. Cfr pipe sert dropped 2 teeth in the front shaved the rear and slapped a 260 rear tire on her and it would pick the front wheel up on the 1-2 shift. On the speedy I have to lay on the tank to keep her down. My dad had a muscle and it was a dog. Water pump went out at like 300 miles and just ran weak even after v&h pipes and tune. He traded it off within 2 months. He wants another speedy after riding mine.

Welcome. The v rod could be a cool bike with that motor, but HD has always held it back in the handling and comfort IMO. You will have a blast on the Triumph, once you get some miles on her you may find you want to take her on a longer ride............

Welcome, eh? You sound like a good young lad which has not been my experience with others in Montreal. Maybe it 's because I butchered the language when I was there last time.
