I've had my S3 for a few months now (following the total wreckage of my Suzuki SV650 due to operator error...complete w/video). Found triumphrat.net pretty quick, but just found this place a couple days ago. While triumphrat has a ton of great info, it's somewhat difficult to find relevant info since everyone is posting about their new '10s or '11s, and here I am with my '03 955i.
Anyhow, I appreciate the focus and dedication of this site to the Speed Triple.
So with all that said...Hello, my name is Gauntylgrym. =)
Since this picture, I've removed the fork reflectors and added simple round bar-end mirrors (man those stock mirrors were catastrophically bad). I'd like to get some aftermarket front turn signals and tail tidy sometime soon.
I'm also planning on seeing how she looks without the pixie hat. While I don't hate it, I like the newer design SOOOOO much more. I know the newer ones do not fit the '02-'04s without some serious modification and accommodations (and I'm not very skilled with metal and/or plastic work), so I'm curious as to what it'd look like without it altogether.

She's sexy!
Welcome to the nuthouse. You'll find we are a far more crass group than the "other site" you mentioned. Most of us are castaways who have been banned from that site because of our fouled mouth belligerence and love for sharing pics of naked women. Especially the ones closest to you. Funny how they put us all in a pen together and we have been happy ever since.
Where you at btw?

Welcome Gaunty....Nice looking bike. I had an 04, took the pixie hat off....looks way better. If you don't already have one you'll need to buy a cover for the rear of the instruments. Only costs about $30

Crass I can handle, though I've gotten along fine over "there" as well. I'm easy...I don't take myself so serious that I can't appreciate both worlds. =)
Just south of Denver. Been here right at a year now. Absolutely LOVE this place. I'm a year-round rider, so the mild winter has been quite welcome. Only had to break out the SUV on a handful of days this winter so far.Where you at btw?

looks too clean, go ride it..... just dont wreck!

We all invaded your state this past summer on a rally. It was one of the best trips of my life thus far.

What chewie is saying is, to attach the fly screen, the back of the instrument cluster has to be removed. It does not get placed back on until you removes the fly screen. It's cluster back or fly screen. Those are your two choices.
His looking out for you to make sure you have the cluster back if you ever remove the flyscreen.
