Former 2004 S3 owner that sold it (stupidly) after having a horrendous wreck on a Supermoto in '07. I bought a Tiger (awesome bike also BTW) after getting rid of the S3. Then I had an apparent desire to repeat history and bought another Supermoto last year just like the one I FUBARed on. Well, fast forward to last Saturday when I sold Sumo #2. Now I'm looking again for a stablemate to keep the Tiger company. I had thought of selling both the Sumo and the Tiger, getting something that did double duty of touring and sporting. The new Ninja 1000 was on my short list, along with a Spring GT. Then I found out last week that I was taking a 20% pay cut at work, so the new bike doesn't sound so feasible at this point.
Ironically enough, I've stumbled onto a VFR 800 for a (seemingly) great price. But I'm still holding out hope I can find a moderately priced S3.
So while I'm a newby, I'm no virgin.
Haze away guys!
