I used to own one, looking to add one back into the stable because I'm an Asshat.

I used to live out in China Lake (no water) when I was a kid. It's just north of the route out to Vegas. It gets so damned hot out there
in the summer the only time we could ride is on a full moon at night. We used to take dirtbikes into the desert. The hard pan glows bright at night and makes riding a lot of fun....the wash outs tend to surprise you tho.

That heat sure can tear up the tires. My metzelers didnt make 5K down here in arizona. Of course, right after I moved here from Illinois, the 'bug' bit me, and I had to ride everywhere, everyday. 118*, yup i was riding..didnt care. Good tips on keepin the camelback cool, as well as yourself. 5 months later here in Arizona, its 85-90 during the day, and it feels cold. Thought I might rub that in to you snowbelters
