    central coast post up (monterey, santa cruz, carmel, holister, san jose)

    So the weather is nice and the fog is usually gone by 10am let's get some rides going so Caitlin and I can find more awesome roads in the area. So far found a few in Carmel, Santa Cruz, Monterey, show me what this place has to offer!!!! I try to ride every weekend, and if you see a yellow zx7r commuting to San Jose try not to crush me!

    Hwy 9, 35, and 1 are all badass.
    I'm rebuilding speedy at the moment but may be able to take another bike. I'll have to ask tho.

    Sweet offer(s) to the south and you already know you'd be with some of the bestest folks to ride and visit with

    You have such a beautiful region to explore, I wish I could spend more time there. Aren't the Sierra Nevada Mountains close to you? 108 across to 395 and a short run around Tahoe and some of the mining towns would make a nice loop. Sooo much to see if you run up the coast and run across Eureka to Yreka, Mt. Shasta, etc. Check the pre RMR maps Dano put up. Crash, Razorback and ?? have great roads too.

    Anyway, you still have open roads in the high country for who knows how long. I'd keep the bikes prep'd and loaded for when you both finish work and head for the hills as much as possible before they get snowed in and then head south to work on your tan and enjoy winter rides with the SoCal folks.

    Please give Ms. Caitlin a hug for me. Good thoughts to you both!

    You think he's gone? He's not gone. That's the whole point! He's never gone!

    thanks bob!

    and you socal dudes, we definitely want to come down and ride. we are still workin on her motorcycle papers with the AF so she can ride and still be covered by health ins. she has to get a high risk waiver and some msf paperwork out of the way. shes been out with me a couple times and loves it here but we arent taking the risk of her riding and the AF denying ins for any reason.

    ^^^
    That's funny, so was I. Looking for an early '90 beater Hilux/Tacoma to haul shit to the dump. And dirt bikes up to Hollister Hills, once I can find something for Razor Jr.

    AF = Air Force?

    I used to own one, looking to add one back into the stable because I'm an Asshat.
