7/26 Va ride

I'm planning a nice 300 mile loop on 7/26. We'll leave my house about 9:30 and head down to Charlottesville. The only painful part of this trip will be the 40 miles of interstate from there to Staunton, after that it's golden. We'll take RT250 out to Monterey VA then RT220 up to Franklin WV to RT33. RT33 and RT 20 will take us almost all the way back to my house.

I can pop up the camper and sleep a few there or I have a few couches and air mattresses you can crash on. After the ride I plan on grilling some steaks drinking lots of and ing till the HOA cops show up. Anyone who's in let me know so I can get a good count for steaks and floor space, your welcome to stay Friday and Saturday or meet us anywhere on the loop.

Can I ask why you aren't ripping up and down skyline? Looks like the best road of the bunch on the map.

Skyline is patroled by a different kind of Popo. Since it's a national park you get Park rangers and a federal court system.

Yo, brudda. This sounds great to me, but I can't commit due to my ever-unpredictable work schedule. I should have a better idea as that weekend draws near. I'd probably have a 200 mile ride just to get there, but I'll just have to .

Quit for a weekend....ride down here on thursday with Mal....we ride friday afternoon....get up saturday....ride to Hockey's.. ..ride more on sunday.....maybe monday....then go home

The way things have been lately, I'd be surprised if we have any weekend work, but won't likely know for sure 'til last minute. That's just the way it is where I work. If we are off, though, I'll be done Friday morning at 6:00. Sleep a few hours and I'll be ready to ride, and more importantly .
