My thoughts exactly Teemstah.
Now I'm trying to track down another set of radiator covers without the plastics to cut down and put back on to tidy the ends of the radiator up a bit.

Hmm, I wonder if the ones off the early 1050's could be modded to fit........

Crazy Idea... Some sheet metal, cut to a size desired, shaped to summat that fits and looks good, then painted black. or red...
Hmmm.... some good ideas guys.
I'll see how much new ones are. I'll only get them if they are cheap because they're only going to get cut up anyway.
I want to keep the originals so at this stage I'll use them to make moulds then fibreglass some up in the shape I want.
However its hot outside so I might just have a beer instead!
Well this is how its looking so far. The tail needs smoothing and a final coat but it has come up alright. I'll start on the radiator shrouds next weekend.665da560.jpgc2da46e2.jpg

Wow! What a great noise. Would love to go for a ride but Triumph just had to use torque head bolts on the footrests instead of Allen keys didn't they. Oh well, will just have to wait til I finish work on Sunday.

Well this is about it for the mods... for now. Some heat proof black and heat proof clear, grinded the exhaust shield brackets off and tidied up the welds and it came up pretty good. I would liked to have painted the end caps of the pipe as well but the rivets did not want to come out.
