My seals have decided to quit sealing, so I've got parts on order for seal replacement. The manual says SAE10 wt fork oil, just wondering what suggestions there are for oil for these. Seems odd a cartridge fork would use an oil that thick?
I don't know but I can't imagine the manual would be so wrong.![]()
Ride with confidence. Not your ego.

i can't speak for your bike, but the newer triples with progressive springs use that weight as stock.
if you are going to re-valve and/or re-spring the forks, i have been told to use 7w fork fluid; some even recommend 5w - though that seems a bit light for my taste.
remember, the lighter the oil, the faster they will compress/load.
Go 15wt oil and up the forks to .95kg, progressives for the street + spacers - and get the static sag set. That will stop the lurching, the forks are excellent they just need a little set up to work real good.

7.5w in my AK-20's
My other ride is your daughter!
I just put new seals on my '95 last week. I used 10W, played with the adjustments a bit, and I can't believe how nice it rides!
