FWIW, I saw a right up using the Marvel Mystery Oil as an additive to increase the lubricity of the new Ultra-low Sulfur Diesel(ULSD). That shit actually had a NEGATIVE effect on the fuel and reduced its lubricity.
I would stay clear of it.

Update! Since originally posting about my 1997 T509 fuel pump noises in Feb. 2010 I have to report it is still doing it! I have also quit putting stuff into the tank to try to change it. Just 92 octane. I also quit worrying about it. I just figure my T509 is possessed by a speed Leprechaun who likes to make noises when I first turn on the ignition![]()
Btw, Motocyclista, your T509 with a with 87,000 miles is impressive.Great machines those T509s !
noises happen as the miles get on. most are just a bit of wear... glad to hear its still chiming away!~
