Hopefully there's a little extra on my bonus this year, otherwise the lady will be waiting for something shiney a little bit longer since my tax returns were horrible this year. If not I'll just go with the stock suspension for a few months until I take it in.

I'm having 2k Motorsports pick up the bike next week. It'll be $450 for the front forks and $150 for the rear shock. It'll be nice having a bike setup for me, since I've never touched the suspension on any of the previous bikes. Only thing that sucks is I don't have a vehicle to bring it there, so it's $65 each way for them to pick it up and drop it off.

The front forks have been resprung and custom valved for about a week. They had to order in a custom spring for the rear, but when he received it, it was bright Maroon from Eibach. Now it's being shipped back to be powder coated the factory blue. Should have the bike back in a week or two. With the temps starting to rise, I might be able to give it a shake down soon.

He said it was definitely maroon, not bright red at all.

maroon is as gay as periwinkle.
