    Replacing the rear brake disc.

Greetings Team and Happy New Year!!

Going to replace the rear brake pads and disc, I already got the manual (2002) and the parts. Any other on-line guide about how to do it? I replaced once the rear brake pads without removing the wheel and it was a bitch. This time I'm removing the wheel. Also, is it possible to remove the brake disc without removing the axle shaft & final drive?

    Thanks

I don't think you can get the disc off without pulling the spindle... But I've been wrong before.
Might think about spindle bearings if you're taking it that far apart? If Cheap can do it, I'd wager any retarded monkey can do it.

At least on 1050 you can. Just rotate the axle so that one bolt at a time is accessible on the low point. Or was it the high point? Well, anyway, rotating the axle as you go along is the key.

lube the bearing while you are at it. you already are so far in that no point to left it undone.

Did my Daytona without removing the shaft. As per the thread above, one bolt at a time then "jiggle" the disc out. Reasonably easy.
