05 Speedie, where does this wire go?

Before I waste the afternoon pulling the tank and the air box, does anyone recognize this wire and where it plugs in to?

    Thanks

Found it, plugs in to the top of the case near the back side of the starter.

That's where your curling iron plugs in. It is an option on most bikes but standard equipment on bikes sold in the UK and California.

It's the oil pressure sensor wire. When the sensor grounds the single wire to the engine block, the "your engine is toast" light on the dash is lit up.

No idea why sprinklerhead has been messing with the wire. I hope unplugging isn't the previous owners idea of fixing a low oil pressure issue?

I don't know what it does, just know that it plugs in to the top of the case next to the rear starter bolt.

I was swapping out a starter and must have knocked it loose. All of my other bikes are oil cooled GSXRs, I don't **** around with oil lights.
