I checked some of the cabling and it's ok'ish. Easiest mod would be to install new ground cable besides the old one.
Maybe I fab up some cables, as we have some cable and cable ends and crimping tool at work. But for my eye the originals seem quite adequate. There is a room for improvement, but it's not a major improvement. Those videos are anyway interesting as it seems the starting speed really was improved after the cabling change.

Measured the loading. There is 130mV drop from the rectfier to the battery. Also minus side has the same drop. So with ideal wiring you get 0,26volts more. And also the voltage regulator could work better as it knows better what is the battery terminal voltage.
