So the Triple wasn't starting ('09) - just couldn't seem to get a spark from it. Did the normal troubleshooting:
- checked fuses
- checked relays
- checked kill switch
- actually put a new battery in since it was 3 years old and wasn't holding a charge as good as it used to
- swaped the fuel (it had been sitting for about a month and a half due to the holidays and being out of town, etc.)
- tried starting with the fuel tank run-off lines unplugged
- tried new plugs since the ones in her were dirty (albeit not seemingly fouled)
Finally gave up at this point as I still have a few months of warranty coverage (bought her in May '10). Turns out the crank position sensor was faulty. They told me this is the first time they'd seen one go. Just curious if anyone else has had one die on them? I've only heard of this happening to one rider I know and that was on his Harley.
