Unhappy Engine replaced and runs poor

    Plz help
I blew my 750 engine and found a replacement 900 lump to go in.
Replaced the Carb internals (main jet, needle valve , needle and pilot jet) with 900 parts, But didnt run. ( slugish on pick up)
Put the 750 carb running gear back in and still no difference.

Bike wont pick up and miss fires. Check the plugs and looks like the bike is running 2 rich

Has anybody got any ideas plz help

Be patient ****. Someone will stop in and give you some mechanical advice.

I had a car run like that once and it ended up being that it wasnt firing on all cylinders.

I have the least mechanical knowledge/talent here.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

    Best of luck

By the way, I didnt call you a profane name. I simply shortend your name and this site read it as profane. Maybe i'll call you Peter for short instead.

If tooling with the carbs makes NO difference, go look at the ignition.

    It's not a 1050 hence carbs.

    I'm guessing older Triumphs.
