    Problems starting after rain

    So, today speedie wouldn't start after work for the 2nd time. Both times it has rained for most of the day. Everything turns on fine, lights, dash, ecu but when I hit the starter....row row row spoosh. Is my sprag ****ing up?
    Now, the first time, it fired right up the next morning after being in our work garage
    Any ideas cunts?

    Could be sprag. Why did you replace the battery? Low-power batteries are the #1 reason sprag clutches go south. If you were limping along on a marginal battery for six months before replacing it you could have forked yourself.

    Also check the usual suspects: regulator and stator.

    Does it jumpstart okay? What year? How many miles?

    There's room here for a flux capacitor or oscillation overthruster joke, but I'm not touching it because you called us cunts.

    I didn't replace the battery, the previous owner did in July when i bought the bike from him. He had let it sit and got a new one for me on his dime. It's an 08 with 7000 miles

    I have a feeling it'll start tomorrow morning, it did last time it happened

    Check the battery terminal connections and make sure the screws are nice and tight.

    Do you have a multi-meter ? If yes;
    Read the battery voltage with:

    1. Ignition off = ?
    2. Ignition on 10seconds = ?
    3. Motor running idle = ?
    4. Motor running 4000 rpm = ?
