Well if thats the case try 14% if you run a 45T cog, which is what TuneBoy calculates it at.

    hmmm 14% seems like alot..

I don't have anything to do monday or tuesday, except ride, so I will refine the % correction in TuneECU for a 45T sprocket, verify with my GPS, then let yall know..

Don't use VM on the Mac. Use VirtualBox. Works a treat with TuneECU, although I haven't tried it with TuneBoy recently.

You will need a working Windows XP or Windows 7 install disk.

The reason I say 14% is that when you use the adjustment feature in TB for a 45t it adjusts it to 114% over standard. As it is the bike standard is 6% of out with a 42t.

All I know is by using the feature in tune constants it is 100% correct to my GPS.

Even if you do not have a key for TuneBoy you can still load it on to your pc and adjust the tune constants to see how much it increases the % for each cog size and then transfer that to TuneECU.

just make sure it's the older version of TB and not the latest vers as the latest version is painful.

Thanks to Avi, here's a link from another thread.

I hear ya, I won't ever use VMWare again, I just couldn't be bothered typing 'virtual machine'. Have heard good things about VirtualBox, will give it a shot.

    Cheers yo!
I think the new one looks like a plastic little bitch compared to the muscled street brawler I've got in my garage...
The new Tuono was on the cards, but it is even uglier than the new speedy

Hey slacker, did you ride this week?

I installed Tuneboy and went into tune constants. In the gear ratio calculator, I entered in 18 and 42 in the Standard sprockets window, and then entered 18 and 43 (my new sprocket size) into the New sprockets window. Using the speedo error percentage of 6, it calculates out to 8% for me.

I'll start there and test with my GPS.

Any of these tunes good for a stock 2011 S3? Even stock bikes can benefit from an optimized map. Anyone got one?

They should all have descriptions attached. None are 2011 unless someone uploaded one
