    Grips

Thoughts on nice comfortable grips? I was looking at some Progrips with pretty good reviews.

Renthal road medium (the gray ones) if you have bitch hands. Renthal road hard (the black ones) if your not a bitch. They are nice and thin but comfortable, super soft grips seem to squirm if they are too thick. The Renthals work better in the rail than you would think too. The medium comp lasts a season, the hard comp two...

    Re: Grips

Both my father-in-law (owns an 07 Tiger) and myself have noticed that our hands get numb after about 2 hours of riding. When I ride with my winter gloves, I don't get any hand cramps or numbness so I am thinking that it is a problem with the diameter of the grip. I looked at the ugly grips and could not bring myself to order that... What grips offer the largest diameter?

And for those of you who are going to tell me to I broke my hand fighting while in the Army on some Durka Durka's jaw. My father-in-law on the other hand needs to for sure...

I used to have the same problem you have bro. Coincidence or not, ever since I got the Rizoma grips on, it's been much less of a problem.

    Re: Grips

I like the rizomas as well, a slight bit larger diameter but they are mainly aluminum wrapped with a thin rubber bit, so they aren't what I'd call "soft". Get them from pj's parts.

Death Grips are squid-ly but they are even larger in diameter and are pretty gummy. I picked up a set somewhere for $5 and threw them on my KLR...and had to adjust the clutch cable because of the thickness difference. http://www.motogrip.net/
