    max risers with stock cables?

    hey folks,

I have just bought a 2011 Speed triple and wondering what the maximum risers I can get before needing to change any cables? Have the option of some 1 1/4 inch. Not sure if that will make much different to the lean angle? So wondered what the maximum was I could look at with the normal cables?

    Any advice is appreciated.
    Cheers,D

This may or may not help as I have a 2009 S3, but I have fitted a pair of SW Motech universal bar back risers. There was still plenty of slack in the cables after removing a few clips here and there. Definitely makes for a more comfortable ride.

Not difficult, but helps if you have another pair of hands to hold the bars whilst you change over to the risers.
