All the weights are in KG with tyres fitted. The difference is insane riding the bike!!!

With carbon ceramic rotors and titanium brake bolts also in play a total of 4kg off the front wheel is achievable. That set are going on project Bling Bling that’s due to roll out of the workshop soon.

BST make wheels for the 1050, 675 and Rocket Three. RaceComp are working with Gorilla Zilla who are the distributors of BST in Australia to cover the full range of Triumph Speed Triples, Daytona’s and Sprint from 97/04 these BST wheels will be exclusively available from www.gorillazilla.com.au GZA are also working on a group buy for members of this site.

Racecomp, I'm going to rob a bank just so I can buy a ticket to fly down there and kick you square in the nuts.

You have just GOT to stop posting porn like that to a guy with bike impotence like me. :finger:

Bastard.

Group buy will start very soon GZA are sorting out the delivery time on a 10 sets of wheels to start with.

For overseas purchasers GZA will set have the set sent directly to you. 08 Speedys will need new rotors for 05/07 model Speedy, you would change them anyway for the wave type.

RaceComp have also been working with Braktech USA on a range of Axis/Star brake rotors for the 1050. These will fit all Speedys from 2005/2007. They are the best rotors IMHO.

Crash sorry mate, here are a few more bit's that's that are going on project Bling Bling.

Oh man. I can't wait for some private time... :jerkoff: Looks awesome. I will be in the market for them in like 30 - 60 days. When would you expect a group buy to begin?

Just as soon as the deal is made with GZA and BST, not to long I hope.

If your serious about a set of these wheels add your name on this post.

Spread the word with pleasure on other sites about the group buy that's happening on the thespeedtriple.com

You will love the feel of the bike with these wheels, I'm amazed how different the bike handles.............. Totally awesome.

I'm new to Triumphs!! Bought a NEW 2006 Speed Triple sitting on the dealers lot with approx zero miles and have been enjoying the hell out of it ever since. I've made a few mods (mandatory with a new bike). LSL rearsets, British Customs tail tidy to get rid of all that hardware out back, LED front turn signals, Rizoma rear view mirrors, Hyabusa front brake master cylinder/ reservoir and some crash bungs. Still have a number of things I wanna do but don't want to sideline the bike for too long at a time!! :drink:

those wheels look great!

I have serious trust issue with carbon wheels thou... probably the new ones are better, but I have read too many broken wheel stories, so the trust is gone.

all that & no rearsets :wtf:??!! guess you dont plan on going around any corners fast ;D
Do rearsets help you go around corners fast??? Must get some now, that's why I'm so slow..... Shit, it was that easy.... Here I am fucking around with forks and wheels, doing engine mods an all....

:slap: :hdfu: The need for rearsets are not that important when you can just flick the rear out at will, with big bars your ride stance also changes over that of clip-ons.......

However I have a new line on rearsets, we just haven't launched them yet. three different styles for the 1050 and 955 SP3 and Daytona.

The bike in the post is work in progress, it's in constant change as are all my bikes.

I used 25mm up and 25mm back jack-up plates on my trackbike Daytona with solid pegs they do the job nicely. :nana:

Personally I think you could break any wheel and I've seen factory wheels(and frames) break. I wouldn't worry about BST's. reputable company with reputable product. Not to say they wont break but I'll bet never under normal circumstance

I have major tendency to destroy things. my friend told me that there is normal usage, then there is Professional usage(harder than normal). But he told that after professional usage comes JakeT's usage. It's way beyond professional.

I'm getting treatment for this problem, but it's not working very well. it anyone remembers one of my first post to this forum, it was before I bought triple. I was asking that how tought speedy is and has there been any problems with the engine and wheelies. I needed to know before getting one.

so far speedy has worked well. main reasons for bying speedy was these.
1. it can last Kevin Carmichaels abuse.
2. I saw head on collision speedy, forks had snapped, but the frame was ok, that confirmed that frame is tough.
