    Austrian Blue Mountains

Gtar Paul is living this at the moment.

This is the wattle, the symbol of our land.
You can stick it in a bottle, you can hold it in your hand.
Australia, Australia, Australia, we love you, Amen.

A dusting of snow? What a calamity.

Well that does it then. I’m done with the internal combustion motor in order to save the climate. From what I have no idea. But it makes me feel I’m better than the rest of you. And that’s what counts.

Not looking for sympathy, comparing dicks or snow depths.
I was sending this to a mate who spends 6 months of the year in Katoomba (complaining about the cold in summer) and 6 months of the year in Vietnam.
Then I realised that a couple of Oz rallies have passed right by this spot and thought some folks might be interested.
After the weather the Wookie organised for our last tour this could be in our future.

This is the view off my back porch this morning.
First time we’ve had a scattering of snow in 10 years of living here.

    Thanks Joe.
We were shitting bricks wondering what we would do.
I mean we didn’t have any ‘mericans to help or fcukwit expat Poms to give opinions.
    We were stuffed for sure.
Gee, even our Scottish bred cows wondered what to do.

I never understood the buying of bread and milk. Shelves get emptied if they forecast 10% chance of seeing a flake and they close the schools. If I didn't already have a 5 year supply on hand I would be buying whisky & wine.
