Do not slow down for those boys in blue!

Took the speedie on a spirited ride today. Replaced the engine I thought i'd test her out!

An officer was speed trapping drivers, obviously he saw me and I saw him, I was going fast, probably 120mph.

Instead of going along my merry way as I should have, considering it was a straight road with a green light ahead of me, and the end of his jurisdiction, I decided to be polite and pull over, hoping he would be nice to me.

I was polite, he said he respected that I slowed down for him.

He proceeded to give me the full ticket. 120 mph in a 45 mph zone (back road).

I am devastated. Looks like hundreds in lawyer fees ahead, and a definite hike in insurance. YAY! thanks AGAIN police for showing me that politeness is a great way to get SCREWED and I should not ever expect it in return.

Picking up a cabinet hinge tomorrow morning

You're lucky....triple digits will get you a ride to the slammer and your bike towed, here in oHIo!

You might want to get a set of knee pads before court day, you'll need them!

Politeness will get you screwed? Maybe going close to 3x the posted speed limit is what screwed you. You will probably lose your license, and should.

    Sorry, not sorry.

The unique snowflake brigade still will not accept that they are responsible for the consequences of their actions. Pay the ticket, pay the insurance and hope the judge does not take your licence. Man the f up.

I have it on personal authority that Joe is so law abiding that he's never even rolled through a red light that his bike won't trigger.

Somewhere in North Klakalacky he sits there still, waiting for the light to change.

There is a time and a place for everything. The difference between a hoon and a douchebag is knowing that. You are clearly a fukn douche bag and maybe should have bought a street fightered gixxer instead.

That said, you do the crime, you do the time. Go ahead and run from police on your bike. This isn't the late 80's early 90's. LEO can track you with everything from traffic cameras and unmanned ISR, to manned rotary and fixed wing. You'll get caught and earn a felony fleeing charge, and possibly kill or maim yourself or others in the process.

It isn't cool, it isn't funny. It's dip shit squids with your attitude that make society at large hate people on bikes, make insurance rates high, and keep Imperial Sportbikes in business

Nobody here is going to be sympathetic that you got a ticket going triple digits in a 45.

It's good you are devastated, you should be, better than wrapped around a Kia Sportage.

As far as politeness, the cop was more than polite. He gave you a ticket, which is a courtesy, vs arresting you and impounding the bike. You are seriously lucky you aren't in jail getting your squid shit pushed in.

    What Joe said.

Welllll problem is I'm a male under 25, so like. Insurance wise... I'm ****ed.

I'm obviously fighting it, but now do I lawyer up? Or just save the money and represent myself? Do I make up a story, or do I stay truthful? It seems being truthful has gotten me a whole lotta nothing as of yet... but a lawyer will be probably like $500+ on top of the ticket so............ hm....... what do do.....
