    Drop Link 2006 Spd3 removal!

    I tried using a the bolt recommended on the Service Manual but could not manually pull it out, it is simply stuck?

    Pls advise, thank you.

    First make sure you have got as much of the shit out from the joint as possible. Also good idea to spray some oil on the spindle.

    After that use a bolt in combination with a box full of spanners. Put the bolt through few of the looped ends. Tighten bolt so that it pulls spindle outward. Keep on adding spanners as you go, so you always have a solid base to pull against.

    Don't need to look far for a bolt to remove top link...

    The clamp bolt that tightens the eccentric chain adjuster fits the top link pin.I just hang 2 sets of vice grips on the bolt and start screwing it in.
