How many does this make? I found beads of solder after the Canadian trip.
The final fix is in.. all the bikes are now made in China........So no need to buy one. Not a British bike.....made from crap for years......Traded on a fake history.....they will be bust in 3 yrs

Moral to the story is, if the retaining screw which affix the stator to the stator case loosen and back out several millimeters, those screws WILL make contact with the flywheel, and as they loosen more, the stator itself will have sufficient free play, so as to also make contact with the rotating flywheel...
There will be a subtle telltale hint, given by the unpleasant, crunching/grinding sounds and corresponding vibrations...

Has been reinstalled, this time wuth new retaining screws, and this time with thread locker in the threads...
Is producing 13.5 to 14.2 volts during normal riding...
For how long is the question...
