(15w50 is recommended, but 10w50 is just fine until your next change. I wouldn't be concerned. However you don't want to go with 10w40. It won't ruin anything of course, but it'll shift clunkier.)
Thx, yeah, right now im runing with 15w-50 and shifting is better than 10w40.I will try with 10w50

The engine runs cooler with 10W40 and I haven't clicked one of Crash's links in a decade. Some things you just can't un-see.

I am hurt by your lack of faith.

Have run both, and have to agree with Doc.

And the charging system runs better with 10w40. The 50 is less clunky. I prefer the 40.

Easiest thing to do is add about 10-12oz of premium gasoline to the crankcase, this will reduce it to the desired 10w40.

Same here. In fact runs and shifts somewhat better with 10w40 vs w50.
45k miles on odometer, and the bike burns ZERO oil. I don't have to add any oil in between oil changes.

Currently running 10w40, previously was running 15w40. I have run 10w50 several times. The differences are marginal.

Drink three beers. Wait 20 minutes. Piss. Measure the amount.
