    Newbie to the Triumph World

Moved to Texas about 2.5 years ago and had my 1975 RD125 2 smoker cafe'd and my mint RC36 VFR750, but having a terrible commute, I wasn't riding either enough and sold them off. Recently, I moved closer to work and I don't have to deal with an awful construction filled commute anymore, so I started looking into bikes.

Decided I wanted something more comfortable, and was considering the Africa Twin and other adventure bikes. After thinking more, I knew I'd want something more sporty and I always had loved the Speed Triples. Stumbled upon this R on Craigslist and jumped on it as soon as I saw it in person.

The thing is mint, 3800 miles. The powerband is so insanely fun, I'm excited to rack up that odometer.

welcome and be safe in DFW, it's a fukn warzone on the roads with traffic and the construction. I grew up in Irving, so had the pleasure of driving through it all no matter which way i'm headed..

Irving is rough to get anywhere almost.

Luckily, I'm in Fort Worth, kinda near TCU, and work just east of the downtown, so I can get to work with no highways or bad construction. I also don't have to deal with too much hell to get out west of the metro onto some fun roads, which I'm hoping to do so on Sunday.

Absolutely loving this bike so far, the torque curve make it so fun to ride. It's nice to be able to ride spirited without having to ring the hell out of it.
