Fitting tiger parts to speed triple?

So I have a 2005 speed triple, has anyone tried fitting tiger bits to a speed triple? I have seen some awesome metal belly pan protectors for the tiger, but I don't want to fork out the cash for something that won't fit and I likely can't return.

Depends which parts you're thinking. Nearly all engine parts would be interchangeable along with most electrical. Anything frame related and body, is where things come into question, as the Tiger frame and forks are notably different to Speedy, needless to say so is the bodywork and fuel tank.

Most on here don't venture too far away from model specific items on their Speedies. I've mounted and run a 955 Sprint ST radiator on my Speed Triple when stuck for parts, along with assorted Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda items. Some bolted on like factory, others required more creative solutions...

In regards to the metal bellypan protector, I'd be researching how they mount and compare that to how belly pans mount to Speedy - compare, measure and assess boltnon compatibility, along with modifications/customisation required to adapt to fitment on Speedy.

I've fitted a Sprint rear brake to my 2009 S3. I recommend it.

Awesome! If possible I'd love to see some pictures of it mounted.
