Shame there was no footage, the whole reason gopro's were invented was to capture moments like that.
Fairly sure Hockey had footage of that incident...

Nice work John. Will we get an Uncle Dude tribute photo of that rear wheel? It is summer there after all. Keep posting pics of progress.

no risers, but pretty sure I have the original '08 fatbars unless I gave those away already.

I'll dig through what I have. A black Daytona rim would have looked pretty nice on there..

Might need a wide angle lens.

I've got a lead on some risers, (from Night Train's Used Motorcycle Parts and Accessories), but if you still have the fatbars I will take em off your hands for sure, if shipping is not prohibitive. USPS international shipping costs have gone up astronomically in the last couple of years.

The new rims I got after the damage were black, but it was a very dull black...almost matte. Didn't like it. Toyed with the idea of getting them powdercoated in gloss black, but opted for polished instead.

I still feel bad about breaking those wheels. I don't have a video of the impact but I did get some footage of the pothole after I hit it. I picked up a few pieces of the wheel and after we got back to Festers house discovered they all came from different wheels. At least I wasn't the only one. A lot of people have told me what a good job I did staying upright but to be honest I'm just scared of crashing.

At least the 3rd car didn't try to soak you Hockey, did the first 2 end up with buckled rims a bit further down the road?
