Wanted: 2001 Speed Triple, Neon Blue

Hello. I am looking for a clean 2001 ST in the neon blue color, as in the attached pic. No project bikes; I'm looking for one that has been well-maintained and in excellent condition. Thanks.

    Good luck with that.

I did see one pretty much just like that on Friday, oddly enough, right here north of the river in Vancouver. Probably not for sale though, and I couldn't tell you where it lives. A guy was riding it.

IMHO that is the best looking model of Speed triple.

By the way, the official name for that color from Triumph was "Neon Blue."

Thanks. I’ve updated the post with the correct color name.
Back in 2002, the local dealership in Salt Lake City had a brand new one on the floor, and I used to go look at it every weekend for about 2 months! Never pulled the trigger though. Now I wish I had. Hopefully, I’ll find one.

I hope you do too. You might try asking over at Cascade Moto Classics in Beaverton. They might have a better idea of who in the area has one. Kelly and Janice and Liz have always been good to me.

I am considering letting go of 2002. Not a project, but not ridden much in the last 10 years.

Sorry, I did not see your post until now. (I thought I would receive an email when someone posted?)

I'm really looking for a 2001, as I love the air scoops on the tail that were on that edition. Nice looking bike you have, though. I'm sure you'll have no trouble selling it if you decide to do so.

    Thanks for the response,

    Marc

    Hi Marc,

I have an '01 ST3. I wasn't really thinking of selling it. It was showroom condition with 13k when I bought it. It's still in the same condition and now has just under 20k. If you really want it we can talk.

    Cheers,

    -fred

Hi Fred. Thanks for the note. I am assuming yours is neon blue? Can you post a pic or 2? And where are you located?
    Marc
