OK problem sorted.
Rather than spend £250 changing the pistons and seals, I have gone with the GSXR caliper and master cylinder swap. Same price for better results so far. The calipers and master cylinders were £100 this new lines from Hel performance £90 and new HH pads (£47) + brake fluid.
They need a little bleeding but immediately I have noticed a difference. Before the lever was wooden and hardly had any travel (if the pistons had been pushed back in) but now there is good feel from the lever, with a more progressing pressure on the lever resulting in greater stopping power.........I know.....thats how it should be!
I highly recommend the GSXR fix if you can get the parts at the right price. I thought I would miss the gold calipers but the black ones actually look really good!
