Stubby'd one of my old VTR1000 cans to use as a 3-1 on the triple, now 220mm, just need to find a suitable map without SAI or O2 sensor that I can tweak.
Just dry fixed as I need to make a support bracket, don't need much there's very little weight!

New bearings in hub (forgot to take photos) just knocked out old ones with a punch, put new ones in freezer overnight and pressed in with a vice using old bearings as a drift.
Cleaned and adjusted chain, actually in good condition under all the muck.
Stripped rear caliper, changed brake fluid, refitted wheel.
Loaded Bos_20101map - "1050cc Speed Triple up to VIN 281465 with BOS slip-on exhausts with baffles Stock or aftermarket air filter
without catalyst and without secondary air injection imported PCIII Map M513-504.djm, 2005-2006 Triumph
Speed Triple European Model. Instead of "Power Commander O ² sensor controller" Lambda probe turned off. "
Which should be close enough but won't know till I road test (still waiting for reg docs from useless DVLA) , balanced carbs with vacuum guages, reset TPS with TuneECU and fired up first prod!

    "Carbs"?!?!?

Next you'll be telling us how you adjusted the points and set the friction dampers.

ET ignition. Why did it have to be... Energy Transfer ignition?

    ...and Amal Monoblocks.

Is this what PTSD feels like?

Rebuild so far, just a few little jobs to do. Replace broken crash bung, fit infill part on seat, remove condensation from rear light, new tyres, paint or strip & polish heel guards and repaint scuffed engine casings (when it's warm enough!)

Could be worse. Could be a Ducati. Or a Buell.
