    Help identifying part

Please forgive my ignorance as I am still getting to know my 2010.

What is this part and am I missing anything that is supposed to be attached to that tube? It rotates 360 degrees.

    Thanks!

I believe that's the charcoal canister and nothing is supposed to be connected to it. At least, mine didn't.

Wonder if it would be worth it to get rid off all that CA emissions crap.

Some have done it and the bike runs OK. I removed the hoses and it ran OK.

It doesn't hurt anything either way. Ditch it and save 6 ounces.
