    Re: ATTN: New 1050 owners!

    Devious,
I do have the same issue with the tank as well. Is this something I should bring up to my dealer (I barely put in over 500 miles). Never removed the tank. Is it a fairly easy process?... and do I need to remove the breather hoses to see which one has the valve you reference in your post. I am a true novice when it comes to putting my hands on the bike and I want to make sure I do not do more damage

By the way, this is forum is an invaluable source!!!

    Re: ATTN: New 1050 owners!

TXcat - I suggest telling the dealer to fix the breather hoses and any other issues when you take it in for the 500 mile service.

If you have already done the service, take it back anyway. Have them adjust the throttle at the same time.

I am glad others are finding some value in the tech BS many of us post here. it is CatahoulaBulldog's site, we just swim in it.

I really hate to bring this up, but this seems like a prime candidate to be sticky.

    Anybody else agree?

    Fuel Tank Hose Issue

If you don't want to pull your tank and your hands are small enough you can reach through the frame from the bottom left of the bike and check the hoses and swap them if needed.

    Here are some pics.

    Good Luck

+1 on the drive train noise. It was my chain after all.
