This greeted me on the floor of the shop today (Fuel vent?)

I haven't done much research on this, yet, but I think it's a fuel vent.

Looks like after seventeen years the original rubber has failed, and this was sitting on the floor on the LHS of the bike, by the kickstand.

Can someone confirm it's fuel-vent associated plumbing?

    Thanks in advance!

okay, it looks as if it's emission-control crap, possibly the hoses, and item #10 from the fiche?

If so, I believe I'm on a weight-reduction mission. Any thoughts?
