Non-running Street Triple 675 - Buy or Avoid

Hi, all. Noob to Brit bikes but not to riding, looking to get into my first Triumph.

I may have found a good deal on a 675 ST3 but would like the voice of experience/reason to either steer me away or to tell me to dive in.

Bike is an '08 675 with 32k miles. It has a few aftermarket bits (exhaust, clip-ons, tail tidy & CF front fender). Owner says bike ran flawlessly last autumn but now won't start after being parked over the winter. Owner says bike turns over, cranks bit won't start. For what it's worth, this is owner's 2nd bike, "main" one is a Monster 900.

Anyway, after doing some homework, the majority of issues I've read about involve rectifiers, stators and sprag clutches. Going with the little info I've been provided, should I pursue this bike or stay away?

Thanks in advance for any advice and/or suggestions.!!!

You are on the wrong site.

Nobody even owns a 675 here anymore
