Makes me wonder is a TSB was released along with the "retro-kit". If there was, you have something..

Besides, why would a retro-kit be released if there wasn't a problem..

Like Chewie said, my bike was well out of warranty so the cost of replacement was all $950 dollars of my own money. I don't pay that kind of money out for a two year life expectancy.

Another thing to highlight is the fact that the dealership over here is a company called Peter Stevens. The group of companies who own and run Peter Steven's also own and run Triumph Australia. So they are one and the same as far as im concerned.

I'll be going in kind but firm with my displeasure but should i see them walking away from any responsibility for my loss then thats when I start morphing... morphing like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in the movie "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen"? A crap movie but you get the point.

Nice job - I'm a huge fan of fabricating tools to supplant expensive ones. That said, I sometimes buy expensive tools (and spend more) building a tool that costs less than the tool required....Anyway, I appreciate the pics - Im going to save them.

Also, where did you source your gaskets?
