    Disturbing noise when riding....

Just been riding my 06 Speedy(12000 miles on the clock).Just doing 30mph in traffic when suddenly heard what I first thought was a low flying jet.Or a bit of thunder. But it wasn't...it was my bike!It was speed related-it stopped when I pulled up and revving the engine at standstill it was not there. But on pulling away it came back, like a deep roaring sound in the background.I even stopped and checked my crash helmet .It's got me worried...I suspect it could be a gearbox bearing. It seemed to come on very suddenly.

Is that personal lube or lube the chain?
Just something I vaguely remember from late night “discussions” with Bad Santa and Bucket.

    Hopefully just a chain/sprocket issue.
My KTM was in need of a new chain over the last few weeks. When I finally got around to checking it out discovered that the rear sprocket had half its teeth sheered off. Never seen any shit like it before.
