I am leaking coolant from this area. Looks like the bottom was not torqued. Does anyone have torque specs?
The factory manual says 10nm, or about 7.5 Foot Pounds.
However, I sincerely doubt this is your problem. It's far more likely to be an impeller drive seal that is worn and seeping. This basically means you replace the water pump. But even this is unlikely.
This is the most likely culprit. If you fill the coolant reservoir up to the "full" mark it will spit out fluid every time. This is a known issue with these bikes. It's best to let it find its own happy level and live with it. It is usually somewhat below the "low" mark.
If you're certain it isn't coming from the overflow, then you probably need a new water pump.

There's coolant up higher on one of the bolts so maybe not the overflow, what crash says about the reservoir level is spot on, when I first got my 07 I checked the level and topped her up but she had other ideas
and set her own level which is where its stayed ever since.
