    The t joints are used to modify the plumbing inside the fuel tank, directs the fuel to the pressure relief valve on the pump mounting plate
    then you can blank the return fitting and run one feed pipe only to the fuel rail, will be changing my fuel filter soon can take a picture for you
    but all you are doing is directing fuel from pump after filter to the internal return steel tube,pictures will make it clear,.did this years ago,
    so about time it was serviced, it is all a bit tight for space and you have to avoid fouling the fuel level sensor.
