I thought that adding a thread of all S3 dyno sheets from the members, and adding some info to show what was done, all in one place might be easier for other members to find.

Realize that dyno's differ!
And please add your dyno sheets if possible.

TightTL - header work, Trident exhaust, BMC air filter, TORS tune

Devious - header work, Trident exhaust, BMC filter, custom Tuneboy tune, throttle body clean up.

Tommy Willimski - aftermarket exhaust, custom PCIII tune, BMC filter, head porting and shaving, custom cam timing.

Owner unknown - Zard ful system with PCIII tuning

Did avi8or ever post his results from his dyno-session with his full Zard? Do you know how they compared to these other set-ups? I did a search but couldn't find them posted anywhere.
KcJoes,
there is a thread here - http://www.thespeedtriple.com/Forums/index.php?topic=539.msg5213;topicseen#msg5213

I will try to get him to post the dyno sheet on this thread as well.

Any specs on the head & cam work that was done?

So the OEM head finish is quite bad from the factory then? Are proportionally similar gains to be expected, even from a bit more refined Japanese engines?
Martin,
if you look at Tommy's dyno sheet - http://s107.photobucket.com/albums/m296/Devious2XS/?action=view&current=TommyWilimskydyno.jpg you will see that his baseline was 122 hp (PS), and eventually got 143+ hp (PS). The 116 hp was his old 955 S3.
Tommy has very slightly altered cam timing using Falicon adjustable cam sprockets, I have his cam specs, but will need to dig them out. I remember that they were really close to the ones I was using (before I tore down my engine).

He said that the shop that did the head work cut the heads for a bit more compression, and then just did some clean up porting, but he did not have the flow specs.

I am currently porting my head and will supply specs soon. The stock 1050 head has some rough machining in the bowls that is not present on the Daytona heads apparently. But the flow numbers are close to what I have seen for Daytonas. Some Jap bikes are better (the top end hypersports), and some are about the same. The difference is that 4 cylinders have more valve area that 3 cylinders, so the max flow will be limited on the 1050. But that is not a bad thing IMHO.

I have done some basic port clean up already, and I am working on a bit more detailed work right now. Specs, flow numbers before and after, and detailed photos will be up after I get it all back together.

Homologated/racing? Baffle in/out? I assume no header or air intake mods? Need more info :)

Which one are your referring to?
Oh sorry, didn't give enough info myself :D

I meant hockey's zard silencer dynosheet.
The thread is on this site, but the dyno was with the silencer in place, no tuning, and a horrible high pitched screaming coming from the exhaust. He plans on another test with the baffle removed.

Updated with TightTL's latest charts with tuning:
(not bad at all for a tune downloaded from this site ;) )
