Hello Everyone,
I've found a 2006 Triumph Speed Triple with 13,500 miles for 4,895$ at a dealership.
Looking at the instaVIN check I've seen that some 2006 Speed Triple were recalled.
This is what actually the VIN says for the bike. Do you know if this means the bike has been serviced and recalled or should I worry about it?
Thanks so much for your help!

I have not ever heard of either of those recalls. The first one (suspension) is for the model year 2008 so wont apply to the 2006.

If you contact a triumph dealer with the Vin no. of the bike you are buying he will tell whether your bike is affected. You could also contact Triumph on the number given in the notice. They should be able to tell whether the bike was affected and whether the recall was done.

I think you are all fuct up.

maybe a 2006 model isn't the one you want.

it needs a good handler to keep it in line and healthy.

have you considered one of the new Ducati Scramblers?

Hi John. Thanks for your comment. But why would a 2008 recall event show up for a 2006? That's what's listed as an "event" when I printed the instaVIN report.

The first one says street triple too. You sure you typed the vin in correctly?
You're right I just realized that the instaVIN says STREET and not speed. BUT It is a SPEED TRIPLE. But would why would it show on my instaVIN report? I've entered the correct one.
My concern is that I don't want to have trouble with it later. I can't tell if the previous owner has taken care of this issue or not. I guess Triumph USA will be able to tell me.
