Hey guys.

just bought a 2nd hand 2010 speed triple with 40,000kms on the clock.
loving it.
the only issue is it does not seem to have a fuel gauge!
every manual and site I've checked has them as standard
the dodgy dealership i bought it off just told me they never came with one, I don't know if I believe them. He said it only has a low fuel warning light.

If I look at the dash on the right angle I can see that the LCD display is there for the gauge, but it is just blank.

Ive heard that if someone had previously re-Mapped the ECU, i.e. TuneBoy, then sometimes it can have that effect.

I've pulled the pup from the tank and checked, there is indeed a float inside that registers a varying resistance depending on level, surely it must be for the gauge, not just a light.

has anyone else ever come across this?

cheers lads.

No fuel guage, just a light that comes on when there is about 4-5 litres (a bit more than a US gallon) left.

Those motherfkrs! They probably took the fuel gauge, and will try to sell it back to you at a later date..
