I want to build a custom pipe for my 1050. I want to tuck a small conical can into the area under the rider peg (right side). In order to do this I will have to cut the header pipe right behind the collector. Is this where the pre cat is located? I want to know if this will affect tuning much, is this ill-advised? I would end up leaving enough pipe there for a O2 sensor bung, and a slip fit can (about 1.5-2"). I hear that you may be doing the header mods/ coating on an exchange basis? I am very interested in this, along with the cool air kit you have posted. I am sorry to bug you, but from what I have read, you are the guy to ask.
