No, not me. I work third shift and Thursday morn an Electrician bud of mine and me took a short break and rode an electric flatbed out to the motorcycle parking area cause he wanted to see Speedy. As we are standing there, first shifters are trickling in thru the gate. I hear what is obviously a seriously hotrodded HD comin in and look up to see a beautiful softail custom, screamin eagle edition. The guy stops and backs it in. Kind of a chocolate maroon color. Nothin gawdy (sp), very tasteful and classy. I compliment him on his ride and he thanks me sayin his wife bought it for him for Valentines day. 110 cubes, whitewalls, Tasteful chrome and clean as hell. He looks over at speedy and already knows it's mine, has seen me on it before and tells me how much he digs it. We shoot the shit for awhile about bikes and we all have to go back inside.

Thursday night (my Friday) i get to work and find out the guy is dead. He lost it on a curve in front of the plant and ate the curb. 29 years seniority, one year from reirement, his wife and kids life just changed forever, not for the better. Be careful out there.

I wish harley guys would get over the "image" thing a WEAR SOME FUCKING GEAR!!! I have known too many guys that lost their life over looking cool on their harley. They used to make fun of me when I rode my Harley with full gear. :wtf:

Its never a good day to see a rider lose his life...

How utterly devastating for his family. I can only imagine what is going through his wife's mind right now. I hope she has a strong family or support of friends cause this doesn't end for her for a long time. If there is a way to pass along our thoughts to the family, please do so.

My condolences. Things can change, literally, in the blink of an eye. RIP.
